Before first use To prepare the remote control for first use, pull out the safety strip to activate the battery.
Replacing the battery When replacing the battery in the remote control, refer to the diagram below.
- press the latch.
- while holding the latch, open the battery door.
- insert the battery noting the layout as shown. when replacing the battery, use only the same cr2025 type as specified.
power and connection
- Connect the DC cable of the AC adapter to the power jack on the rear panel, and plug the AC adapter into the wall outlet.
- Press to turn on/off.
- Connect the audio cable to the audio output of any device (such as desktop pc, laptop, smartphone tablet, mp3, tv, etc.) with a 3.5mm headphone output jack or an rca output connector.
- turn on the sound bar and select bluetooth® mode.
- turn on bluetooth® on your device and search for nearby devices.
- search for “onn 16 ” soundbar” in the search results and tap to connect.
- the bluetooth® indicator will turn solid blue when the connection is successful.
- the bluetooth indicator will continue to flash when the soundbar is pairing.
- make sure there are no other active bluetooth® devices in range and the soundbar is within range. less than 3ft / 1m away from your device.
- Before you start playing via bluetooth, turn down the volume to a moderate level.
