mifo o5 – what is included

Both earphones will automatically turn off when no activity is detected for 5 minutes. Important: Before use, please remove the protective film under each earphone, and then put the earphones in the charging box for at least ten minutes.

hearing for the first time

1. identify the left and right channel. in addition to the color indicators, they are marked “l” for left and “r” for right.
2. place the earphones on your ears. if necessary, change the silicone tips for comfort and stability.

1. slowly rotate each earbud toward your face. Since each ear is slightly different, your preferred ear position and tip may vary.
2. Adjust the rotation from side to side until you reach a comfortable angle.

pairing the mifo o5 with a bluetooth device

left and right earphones pair automatically when removed

Important: The mifo o5 earphones are designed to pair with each other right out of the box. Simply remove the left and right earbuds from the charging box simultaneously to activate pairing mode. Each earbud will flash red and blue alternately. after auto pairing is finished, only the indicator light on the right earbud will flash red and blue alternately.

In the rare event that the headsets do not pair with each other, please refer to the next troubleshooting section of this manual.

troubleshooting: pair the left and right earbuds manually

1. press and hold the power button on each earbud for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode.
2. listen for audio confirmation that the earbuds are connected.

troubleshooting: o5 factory reset

In case the pairing is unsuccessful or you are introducing a new replacement headset to a partner, a factory reset may be required.

pairing dual earphones with a bluetooth device



1. remove both earbuds from the included charging case.
2. set your device to search for new bluetooth devices.
3. select mifo_o5 to pair.

important

During the pairing process, the right earbud will flash red and blue alternately. once the pairing is complete, it will stop flashing. The Mifo O5 is designed to automatically unpair from all devices when placed in the charging case. you just need to remove any of the headphones from the box to re-pair them with your preferred devices.

pairing a single earbud with a bluetooth device

the mifo o5 can function as a single earphone if desired.



1. Remove a single earbud, either left or right, from the included charging case and set your device to search for new bluetooth devices.
2. Press and hold the on/off button on the earbud for 3 seconds.
3. select mifo_o5 to pair.

During the pairing process, the headset will flash red and blue alternately. once the pairing is complete, it will stop flashing.

headset button functions



1. functions of the on/off button

Pair earbuds that don’t connect with each other: Long press the power button of each earbud for 2 seconds to enter auto pairing mode.

power on: press and hold the power button on the left or right earbud for 1 second to turn it on.

power off: press and hold the power button on the left or right earbud for 5 seconds to turn it off. the red indicator light will blink twice.

2. handle phone calls

Answer an incoming call: Press the power button on either earbud during an incoming call to answer.

hang up a call: press the on/off button on either headset during a call to hang up.

3. reject an incoming call

press the power button twice quickly on either earbud during an incoming call to reject the call.

4. pause/play streaming or recorded audio

Press the on/off button on either earbud while listening to the audio to pause. press again to resume.

5. reset the headset

In the rare case of repeated failed pairing or unstable signal, press and hold the power button on both earbuds simultaneously for 10 seconds until the indicator on each earbud flashes red twice. put it back in the charging case for a few seconds and then remove it to reactivate.

6. increase or decrease the volume

dual earphone mode: press the volume button on the left earphone to reduce the volume and the volume button on the right earphone to increase the volume.

single earphone mode: press the volume button. the volume will change, continue pressing until the desired volume is achieved.



7. previous/next audio track

next track: while an audio track is playing, press and hold the “volume +” button on the right earphone for 2 seconds to go forward one track.

previous track: while an audio track is playing, press and hold the “volume -” button on the left earphone for 2 seconds to listen to the previous track.

8. transparency mode (security environment mode)

press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to enter or exit transparency mode. this will allow ambient noise to filter through the earpiece via microphone amplification.

loading mifo o5

1. loading the case

Connect the included micro-usb cable to the charging case and plug it into a usb power outlet. charging time is typically 30 to 60 minutes.



2. charging the headphones

Place each earbud on its corresponding charging cradle in the included charging case. magnetic contacts lock the earphones in place.



the led indicator shows the charging status as follows:

• charging: red indicator light flashing.
• fully charged: blue indicator lights flash once and then stop.

Charging Case Capacity Indicators: The mifo o5 includes a variety of visual cues to indicate charge level.

• when the battery capacity of the charging case is 60% or more, the middle green led indicator will stay on.
• when the battery capacity of the charging case is 60% or more, 40 to 60%, the white led indicator on the side of the charging case will stay on.
• When the battery capacity of the charging case is between 30 to 40%, the red led indicator center will stay on.
• when the charging case battery capacity is less than 30%, the center red led indicator will blink.
