To successfully connect gong to your zoom account, you must be a zoom administrator. note: The integration will be disconnected if the person setting up the integration is no longer a zoom administrator at a later time.

  1. On your company’s setup page, click web conferencing.
  2. In the zoom row, click settings.
  3. click connect.
  4. follow the instructions: log in to your zoom account and authorize zoom access. note: you must be the zoom administrator of your company to connect gong to zoom. only one zoom account per company is supported. when you connect to zoom, we install a gong for the zoom app instance in your zoom account and request the following permissions:

    • view and manage all user meetings
    • view and manage all user recordings
    • view all user zoom room information
    • view and manage all users

    enable native zoom recording

    1. Make sure you meet the following requirements:
      • A Zoom commercial or enterprise account.
      • Make sure that the cloud recording and auto record settings are unlocked at the relevant account or group level. if necessary, see a detailed guide for required and recommended zoom settings.

      On your company’s settings page, click web conferencing.

      In the zoom row, click settings.

      If you haven’t set up your zoom integration yet, go here to set it up.

      In the native recording area, click test zoom settings.

      During testing, gong checks user and meeting settings in both gong and zoom to make sure zoom recording can be enabled correctly. the test may take a few minutes to run.
